Mike Myers was bon on May 25, 1963 in Scarborough, Ontario, youngest of three sons born to Eric and Alice Myers. His father Eric, loved to be silly and had a great sense of humor.
After graduating from high school, Mike Myers was accepted by Toronto's Second City Comedy ensemble.
He became popular with the younger audience with such films as WAYNE??S WORLD and WAYNE??S WORLD 2.
Mike appealed to all generations with his crazy satirical film series, based on a James Bond-like character, Austin Powers. AUSTIN POWERS: INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MYSTERY, AUSTIN POWERS: THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME, and AUSTIN POWERS: GOLDMEMBER. In this series, Myers also plays Austin Powers?? nemesis, Dr. Evil, and a few other baddies.
And for any one else who didn??t appreciate Mike's talent, he won them over in the computer animated film, SHREK, where he is the marvelous voice of a misunderstood Ogre.
Though he did some commercials as a child, his television work began in 1988 when Mike Myers joined the cast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and stayed for 6 seasons, developing some of his famous characters, which include: Wayne, Linda Richman, and Dieter.
