Discovered: Marcia started acting in soap operas like "The Edge of Night", "Knots Landing" and "One Life to Live" in the 80's.
In 1992, Marcia got her big break joining the ensemble of the hit nighttime drama, "Melrose Place". Her character, Kimberly Shaw was a favorite.
In 1997, after six years on "Melrose Place" she left the show to get her Master's Degree.
She didn't get back into television until she appeard on the drama series, "Everwood".
Leaving "Everwood" behind she went on to her biggest role yet, as Bree Van De Kamp, on the surprise hit "Desperate Housewives". Due to the shows success she has become a top celebrity.
