Jonathan Houseman Davis was born on January 1 1971, and raised in Bakersfield, California.
Later he would join a band called Sex Art, Which also included Ryan Shuck (the guitarist of the current band Orgy).
One night when Sex Art was playing in a club, James Shaffer (Munky) & Brian Welch (Head), then of L.A.P.D., saw him singing, and asked him to join their band Creep. After Jon auditioned, he immediately got the job and they became KoRn. KoRn has gone on to release eight albums:
All during this time Jon has appeared in some bands songs such as Human Waste Project, Video drone, Limp Bizkit, and many more. Also appeared in their and other bands videos.
Despite all the rumors, Jonathan is not gay and does not have HIV. The tattoo on his arm saying "HIV" is just a tattoo. The song "Faget" on KoRn is just a song fighting back for all the jocks in school who called him a queer, pussy or something. He was sexually abused as a child not by his "Daddy" but his neighbor, hence "Mr. Roger" in Life is Peachy. He has a great relationship with his dad. Jonathan does not do heorin, although he was on speed for two years. He, and the whole band, do drink some very powerful stuff.
Jonathan Davis also was the composer of the soundtrack for the movie ???Queen Of The Damned.??? Jon had a few singers from metal bands to sing for the songs he did for the soundtrack
Jonathan Davis has certainly made himself a busy and a popular man in the entertainment industry. We can all count on him to continue with his success and doing more for not just his fans but for others as well.
