Ben Stiller was born on November 30, 1965, in New York City , the son of popular comedians, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara.
At a young age, he and his sister, Amy would act out Shakespeare plays in their home.
Ben started making super eight films at age 10.
Attended UCLA, but dropped out to start his stint in solid theater experiences, in such strong productions as THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES, a Tony award winner.
His short film spoof of the film, THE COLOR OF MONEY wound up being shown on the TV late night show, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and resulted in a one year gig for Stiller on the show.
Won an Emmy for his satirical TV show, THE BEN STILLER SHOW, which flopped in the ratings wars, and was canceled by Fox.
He directed, acted and put his own money into REALITY BITES, which was also produced by Danny DeVito.
Stiller held his own and shown in MEET THE PARENTS, with Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner, another big hit.
Stiller costarred with his wife, Christine Taylor, in the wacky, silly film, ZOOLANDER.
Ben Stiller's defining role which elevated him to super star status was in the gross-out movie, THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY. Stiller also excelled in MEET THE PARENTS.
